Haunted Hayride

Does anyone know when the Haunted Hayride begins this year?
I believe it is located at Ft. Wilderness.

The Haunted Wagon Rides have been discontinued and replaced with Haunted Carriage Rides at Fort Wilderness. The carriage rides will feature the telling of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

The carriages can accomodate up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children, aged 9 and under. The price for the carriage is $60.

From 10/3- 10/18, carriages depart Pioneer Hall every 1/2 hour starting at 7:30 with the last carriage departing at 10:30pm.

From 10/18- 11/1, carriages depart starting at 7pm, with the last departing at 10:30pm. 3 carriages are available for each ride time.

I'm sad to here the Hayride has been discontinued. I've always wanted to go but they always seem to start just a few days after I leave.

We did Haunted Hayride at Wilderness Campgrounds last year for the first time and had a blast. Unfortunately, they discontinued it as a hayride and made it a carriage ride. Price jumped up to $60 pp. We booked the carriage ride this year as we are told the theme is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and DH is a big headless horseman fan! It's just the two of us going but it is disappointing that Disney decided to drop the hayride.
