Has the Main Street Electrical Parade taken down another successor?

I haven't heard anything new about the Electrical Parade ending nor have I heard any sign of Paint the Night, has it once again conquered another successor?

I doubt it. Disneyland hasn't announced any summer entertainment at all yet. I'm sure PtN will make a return, and then MSEP can finally be retired!

Disneyland is not one to announce their summer entertainment this early. I hardly doubt the $millions on Paint the Night would have only been for a 15-16 month initial run. I'm sure PtN will be back in all its glory this summer, especially with D23 coming to Anaheim in July.

Echoing the fact that DL hasn't said anything about their summer entertainment. Unlike WDW, they don't put up operating hours for the parks MONTHS in advance, they don't put up summer discount offers this early, nor do they even allow you to make dining reservations more than 60 days out. (Which is actually a little frustrating as I'm trying to plan my June trip to see the MSEP once more! ) So I would say Paint The Night is far from dead!

As long as it stays the hell away from Disney World, I only want to see the Electrical Parade or something equal to Spectromagic
