Has Disney Inspired

I feel like a slacker. The toy room looks like the Disney Store and my daughter's bedroom could be the big stuffed animal platform you always see at the Disney Store. :) We now have two Mickey Head ornaments on our Christmas tree and my daughter has a Disney Princess Ornament collection for the tree that goes in her bedroom right after Thanksgiving. I foresee a collectible piece being bought when we head down in September. When we built our house last year we had these gorgeous dark wood built in cabinets done on either side of our fireplace. Gotta fill them up with some items other than the ducks that my husband has hunted and stuffed. Another ornament will be purchased in September for the big tree and I foresee my daughter wanting her own as well for her tree.

Our guest bath is Mickey themed: Shower curtian, bath rug, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, towels, etc. When we go this time, I'm going to get good pictures of each of the parks landparks and put those up on the wall in there.

I have a bookcase in the office that is my Disney "muesum". Has our cake toper and my bride ears and a canvas I made and other nik naks and souvinEARS.

Our 16 month old has a room that is 100% the Lion King. Our kitchen sounds like Hatters with mickey utensils everywhere complete with oven mitts. My favorite is our Christmas decorations. I have bought minimally 3 decorations every visit and received many gifts. This year I am looking for a tree topper. I saw one once that I wish I had bought:oops:

We have a small flower garden that's got statues of Mickey, Pluto and Minnie dressing it up. I wish the flowers would bloom like the F&G displays, but unfortunately I don't have those green thumbs. The inside of our home has Disney represented in every room, along with one room entirely devoted to Disney, and even the car has a touch of Disney. My DVD collection is stocked full with old and new Disney films and cartoons.

DD's bedroom is princess and her playroom is Disney in general. When ever we get a poster or a picture of some sort that is Disney we hang it up in her playroom so she is "surrounded by her friends" (her words, not ours).
We are also building our Christmas collection.

Here's a picture of my Disney tree, which goes in the most Disneyfied room of my house (look closely at the wallpaper--yes, those are Mickey heads):

The two picture frames on the walls facing the tree are collage frames with pictures of us with various characters at WDW. Not visible in this photo are the six framed lithos (the ones Disney Store used to give away with purchase of movies on video) from Jungle Book, Mary Poppins, Aristocats, Toy Story, Peter Pan, and Hercules. On the opposite wall from the tree is a curio cabinet with a collection of porcelain princess figurines that were sold by the Disney Store back in the mid-90s; hanging on the wall next to the cabinet are four princess sericels that were offered through the old Disney Credit Card (late 80s-early 90s?).

Outdoors, we've collected garden objects that remind of us Epcot World Showcase countries/landmarks: I have a tudor cottage for UK, a faux-stone outlet cover that looks just like the "mountains" of Canada, and a number of outdoor decorations that I found in Target: a red dragon (that looks very much like Mushu!) for China, an Eiffel Tower for France, a Japanese pagoda for Japan...still looking for representations of Mexico, Italy, Norway, Germany (we really want to do a mini-train!), and Morocco.
