Has anyone used easywdw.com to plan their park days?

I am a long time lurker but first time poster  I hadnt seen this discussed before, if it has Im sorry. I'm trying to plan my days at the theme parks for a trip in December and in May and have a touringplans.com membership because it was recommended on here, but I saw this website easywdw.com pasted in a thread about pop warner today. They have a crowd calendar and lists of the best and worst theme parks to visit just like touringplans does. Some of the recommended days on touringplans and easywdw are completely different. Like on December 12th, easywdw.com says Magic Kingdom is the best park to go to but touringplans.com says it's the worst? Easywdw.com explains why they recommend it and it makes a lot of sense, but everyone on here says to go with touringplans.com. We're also going in the first week in May and easywdw says Hollywood Studios is the worst park to go to on May 6th but touringplans says it's the best? And then touringplans recommends only Epcot on May 7th, 8th, and 9th and I don't think we want to do that?

Has anyone heard of this website before or used it? Are they reliable? I'm not sure which I should use?

Thanks guys and I'll try to post more I just don't want to say anything wrong! :xmas:

First, welcome.

Second, I've never heard of easywdw until your post. It appears to be one giant blog. Might have some good info, but I don't know how they collect their data (or if they're just making up the info based on their opinions).

TouringPlans is legit. They actually have statistical data to back up every one of their recommendations. And they have a real website.

I can only surmise that EasyWDW is someone's hobby, and that they're either "borrowing" information from other sources, or making it up completely. But I could be wrong.

I, personally, have been an avid fan of the Unofficial Guide/TouringPlans.com for years, and swear by them.

Welcome to the boards! I am also unfamiliar with easywdw.com. I have used touringplans.com for many years. From their site:

What If I Want to Visit a Park on an "Avoid" Day?
Remember, these are just recommendations. You can go to Epcot on a day its listed as a "Park To Avoid" and still have a fabulous time! Doubly so if you're armed with Lines and a good Touring Plan.

How important is choosing the right day?
Worrying about the day of the week before you have a good touring plan is like ordering two triple cheeseburgers with fries, then wondering whether the restaurant has Diet Coke. Things like the predicted crowd level, the time of day, and the attractions that you wish to visit will all affect how long you have to stand in line, and in general how crowded a park will be. Other factors, such as day of the week and whether it's a holiday can affect the crowd levels too. Our research team measures all of these factors to develop a model that will predict the amount of time you'll spend waiting in line. The following table shows how important these factors are in determining how long you wait. An importance level of 10 means that a variable has a huge effect; while a level of 1 means that it has virtually no effect at all.

The best thing about touringplans.com is the touring plans. I have used them for many years and it significantly reduces your time waiting in line. Since you have a membership, I would utilize the touring plans on their site.

Couldn't have said it better myself! 100% right - their words and yours.

We don't go to WDW without their plans in hand.

Touringplans have been doing this for years and do it well, so if you are looking for this kind of forecast, I would stick with them.
