So my proposal idea is to have a character (her favorite character, most favorite thing in the world, really) give her the ring like the character 'made' it for her. I'm sure you can all infer which character.

Has anyone had a character involved? I don't care about standing in line at a M&G or anything, actually I would prefer it if there was some way to do that, so she wouldn't get suspicious.

This would probably be fairly easy to do at a character meal, just ask the host at check-in. Might be difficult to do at a character line.

Just found out that the character appears at a meal at DLR.

Now I just have to plan a way out there. And figure out a way to make sure the character is going to be at the meal the night we go to it. Any ideas on how to do that?

If it's a very old character that only does meals at DL, then I would be very careful about centering a whole trip to California for a surprise proposal on this one tidbit of internet information.

My suggestion is to contact Disney directly and explain what you want. You will probably have to fork out some $$$, but that beats the hell out of the character not showing up that day and blowing your plans completely out of the water.

definitely call disney , i have found in the past they have bent over backwards to accommodate ,it may cost but i bet they will work it out. :wave:
