Has Anyone gotten Wilderness Lodge Standard room with free dining?

Hi,

I have been calling daily, actually several times daily, and also checking online several times daily for Wilderness Lodge to open up standard view rooms with free dining. I have seen nothing at all! Never, not once. So my question to you is has anyone booked a standard view room with free dining at Wilderness? And if so, when did you book?
Right now we are at Animal Kingdom Lodge with standard view, but REALLY want to swich to WL.
Our dates are 9/19 - 9/25. And yes I have been flexible, trying out all combos that are possible for us.
It is so frustrating!

Hip Hip Hooray!!

I just got into the WL with a standard room today! I am so happy!
I had written a letter in frustration last weekend, when the promo was new and everything was said to be "sold out", and someone from WDW called me this morning saying she had great news for me! So I called back and she said she had called around and had a WL standard on hold for me for the exact dates I wanted! So I just switched from Animal Kingdom Lodge. With the free dining too! I am so thrilled with the service I have gotten so far! And I am not even there yet!

Right now the only available room for my time frame is the Concierge Level...


How much did the Standard Room end up costing you??

Standard room with free dining is $2444.20

That is for 4 people (2 adults, 2 children), for 6 nights, 7 days with park hopper no water parks.
I wrote an email to wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com when the promo first started and there was hardly anything to be found anywhere.
That is probably the only reason I got in!

I tried for a standard at the lodge and nothing came up. I ended up settling for the POR and with the extra money I saved I was able to stay another night. I'm excited to try a new resort and even more excited to stay an extra night!
