has anybody ever used the 'Gifts of a lifetime' pixies before?

One more question for you all. Has anyone every used the celebration pixies? I saw them advertised on Google and they seem like a really cool idea for a loved one when you are in the park, but seen as I have never heard of them before I was worried about paying $200+ on an experience if they were reliable.

I haven't personally used them, but I know people who have and had a great time with it- I wanted to for my daughter's birthday one year, but the price really stopped me from doing anything. Everyone that I know that did something through them was very happy with the experience.

It is a website: www.giftsofalifetime.comThey are people who will plan surprises for either a loved one, birthday etc etc. They do things like help with proposals, plan a scavenger hunt. Have a look on the website it sounds great but at the same time not cheap so I wanted to make sure before I spent the money with them.

Not that I think it's a bad idea, but I'm a little surprised that Disney allows this on their property.

You may have seen recent discussions about Jim Hill being asked to cease and desist his "tour" of DL and the same with some others that have done this sort of thing.

I guess this group has a formal agreement to do this with WDW.

Have you emailed them yet?? I did that with the wanting to do my DD's birthday surprise, but when they sent me the total for the whole thing, I just didn't think it was right for me- they will give you an idea of what they will do on that day and tell you exactly how much it will cost.

Again, I have heard only good things, but the price just made me not do it.

I'm assuming they do because they have gotten some of the characters into it before (from what I have heard)- So I sure hope they have an agreement with Disney.....

Yes I have emailed them, It was about two weeks ago and I am just waiting on a reply, how long did it take for your reply? I just can't wait. We are going with some friends too and Erin has never been to DWD before and has always wanted to so I am thinking about calling the hotel and organising for her room to be decorated! I want to make it special for her cos she is so excited! But I don't have an endless supply of money.

It took about a month or so- It was 2 years ago too and I have heard that they are alot busier now so it might be a little longer, but they will contact you I am sure :)

If what they "plan" for you is out of your price range- you could always get a gift basket or something through WDW Florist- My DH went through them for our honeymoon and it was great- Roses everywhere it seemed :)
