Ummmm.. The "big unknown attraction" IS Hogwarts. The castle is a 30' facade that sits on top of the ride's show building. And it's hardly that unknown - it's one of the worst kept secrets in the amusement industry. It's been widely known to be the KUKA Robocoaster dark ride for a couple of years now, though that fact has not *actually* been announced. The ride system has been purchased and paid for in full.

The original plan was to put the show building by Sinbad and to make Hogwart's an interactive walkthrough attraction. Now you're saying that Hogwart's will be like the Bates Motel, and you'll see it but you won't go in it?

There was never, and I repeat, ever, a plan to put the show building near Sindbad. Ever. Never ever. That was nothing more than ridiculous internet speculation.

This is straight from the designers, and straight from every set of blueprints ever drafted. Never. Ever. Always where it currently is being built.

I read that u will be able to go into hogwarts and there lots to do in there. we will see.
That was the plan, at least at one point. Might still happen. Be interesting to see how it's done.
As of now, they haven't built anything that would house a Hogwarts that would be accessable to guests other than the ride building.
I fear much of what is seen in the art will be just a facade.

Facade matches everything I've been told and seen in blueprints.

I wonder what the ride is going to do? Aside from being a KUKA robocoaster, I guess they are planning to have some combination of set pieces or video screens throughout? I am hoping they can somehow top Spiderman...nobody else has been able to do it 12 years later.

I thought the interior of Hogwarts was going to be a huge interactive MagiQuest-based adventure game with an HP theme. That was the rumor last year...not sure if that's been debunked since then.

Yeah. Sets, screens, AAs...the works.
IF it turns works out to it's full potential...it will top Spidy.
But...if it doesn't work like it should....epic failure.
I'm hoping for the best.

The MagiQuest-like part is (as I hear it) outdoors, all through the land, not just in the castle...if you even get to go into the castle...

Given that the castle is 50' off the ground, I wouldn't hold high hopes. I'd love to be wrong, but I'm confident that I'm not.
