Harmony Barbershop My First Haircut

Hi all,

We just booked the My First Haircut experience for our boys in January (they will turn 1 year old 9 days later). Anyone ever done this before? What are your thoughts? I'm really excited that their first haircuts will be in the Magic Kingdom!

We did it in Feb 2012 for my DS. The barber was very friendly and you can tell they have a lot of experience dealing with wiggly little kids. They gave him some Mickey stickers to play with other kids were given Light up spinners to play with if the stickers weren't enough. They saved every piece of hair and wrapped it up for us. They also give you a certificate and a pair of Mickey ears that say "My First Haircut".

We just did this with our DGS for his 1st Birthday...October 2013. It was great. We had an experience similar to @RandomPrincess . Enjoy!!

Both of my kids got their first haircuts at the Harmony Barbershop and have the certificates above their bedroom doors to prove it. I love that they can walk by that shop for the rest of their lives* and say they got their first trims there.

We are doing this for our son this January (so excited!!). I've called and made the appointment. Is there a first haircut package that I need to request? I did tell them it would be his first haircut, I just don't remember them saying anything about a special package. I want to make sure he gets the ears and certificate.
