Well, I agree with everyone here. I got the cable box, too, just for The Disney Channel. And just as they went to basic cable around the country, they put the "premium" Disney stuff "back in the vault" and started airing 24 hours of the same 'tween programming: cheap stuff.
I think it has to do with going to basic cable around the country. But, like many of the posts above imply, it ultimately hurts the campany's original movies, characters, and shows.
I definitely do not understand why "Inside/Out" and other live Disney shows (like MMC) are not on. They are perfect shows that both entertained and promoted the company's other assets. They helped create Disney fans like us that grew up coming back for more... and you know what they say in marketing: a repeat customer is always better than two visitors... because we know he will come back!
I just hope that ONE day they will listen...
