Happy Thanksgiving everyone and have a great Thursday for our friends outside the U.S. Enjoy the parade, eat some turkey and pumpkin pie, watch some football, take a nap, eat some more pie. :D For all of us in the path of this winter storm, safe travels and stay warm.

Nothing, but Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York usually has Mickey Mouse. Last year, he was "Sailor Mickey," I think. And I do think it is nice that certain traditions still have the big media companies sharing space. The Macy's parade has a contract with NBC (Universal/Comcast), yet they still include other companies in the parade. I think it is nice to still be a community event. I wish the WDW television commercial, uh, er, "parade" were like that.

I wonder if they sell more of them than normal on Thanksgiving? I know that most of the WDW sit-down restaurants change their menu to include carved turkey and all the fixin's on that day. We ate our Thanksgiving dinner meal at the Yacht Club one time, and they had a nice turkey and ham roast.
