-92 days till Home on the Range debuts in theatres!
-5 months until Tower of Terror opens at DCA!

Happy New Year everyone!!!

I've got my greens cooking and my mom has the black eyed peas going. Every New Years we have a honey baked ham, greens (cooked southern style), black eyed peas (cooked southern style), stuffed eggs, and corn bread. I guess you could call this a southern meal. lol

The greens are for lots of money in the new year and the black eyed pleas are for luck in the new year. I was wondering... is this a sounthern thing or do people other than southerners have this tradition? If not, what type traditons do others have that "bring luck" to the new year?

Our family tradition is to always have a big Italian meal...today meatballs, baked ziti & garlic bread. And a salad too.
