Thanks everyone for the nice b'day wishes of sharkean proportions. Of course, in shark years, I don't know how old I really am. That's a good thing, yes?
Funny story though. I usually don't tell too many people when my b'day is. But today, I was having lunch with two jokers who thought it'd be funny to tell the waitress it was my b'day (just for a laugh).
It was actually yesterday (12/04), and them not knowing this, I decided to let the cat outta the bag, and show them my driver's license proving how accurate they really were.
Thanks again everyone, ya'll made me smile. (And when a shark is smiling...fewer people get hurt).

Haha. For years I've wondered what exactly the theme of that store has to do with the Smoky Mountains. They have those all over various beach towns, and rightfully so. But a shark/swimwear gift shop in the mtns (?)I seriously took this picture here this morning for you...
I would have gone in to buy you a gift, but,well, you know, me being a fish and all, just didn't seem like a good idea.

Very funny story!
Last year I was at a restaurant with my family and telling them a story about my friend's birthday - she was turning 40 and not too pleased about it. Anyway, out of nowhere the waitress brings over ice cream with a candle, places it down in front of me and the waitstaff starts singing. She then told me she overheard me talking about my birthday and thought it would be a nice surprise. And surprised I was...since my birthday was the month earlier.
My dear DH has a habit of sneaking off and telling one of the waitstaff that it's my birthday when it really isn't, strictly to embarrass me, and of course, for free cake. One year i had like 13 birthdays....
