I was in your State today! We visited my brother in law. My family of 4 and my mother in law. I got to sit in the middle of the back seat between my kids. I don't want to talk about it.

Hubby drove and my Mother in law got shotgun. We took her car since she has a built in GPS - but as soon as we got over the bridge into NJ she started messing with the view (she likes the full map, not the map with the directions listed) and we heard "You have arrived at your destination. Navigation cancelled." And her car won't let you reprogram while its in motion. So the last hour I had to use the GPS on my phone. The kids were fine but the back seat was really uncomfortable. We were in the car (5 hours) longer than we were there (4 hours) but it was a nice visit.

Aside from the brief incident on the Throgs Neck Bridge - where an punch gone astray got me in the ribs - the kids were fine.
