As a former Orlando resident, yessiree, I can!
It's fairly close, actually. It takes me about ten minutes at most (unless we stop in every shop along the way). I suggest skipping the Pleasure Island area, and just walk along the sidewalks from McDonald's to Planet Hollywood if you are in a hurry. That way you can avoid the crowds.
