Halloween Party Ticket Question

This may have been covered in a previous thread, but I don't think so. Can you purchase tickets to the event without having purchased park tickets and or made reservations for your resort? Thanks guys!

If I understand fully:

Can you purchase an event ticket (halloween) first? Yes I did it last year. I then bought APs a few weeks later. It was just like an e ride night. Ticket for park admission then swapped my hallween ticket for wrist band.

Im not sure if you actually require park admission though cause you certainly didnt at IOAs halloween bash. We just used it cause we went to the MK mid afternoon.

It's a completely seperate event. You don't need to purchase a regular ticket on top of your MNSSHP ticket.

The park closes at 5pm (I think) to regular guests aand reopens at 7pm for the party.

Catch-22 is absolutely correct. you dont require a "regular" park ticket to purchase a Halloween ticket. They are completely exclusive of each other. The only event you need a park ticket and the additional ticket for are E nights in the Magic Kingdom.
You also can certainly buy your Halloween tickets before you make your hotel ressies, but Id be careful doing that as I think the MNSSHP tix are not refundable and what if you cant get the hotel to coincide with the dates of the tix you bought? Hope this helps, Belle
