Halloween Horror Nights - 13 Years In The Making...

Those of you that work Halloween Horror Nights, where exactly do you work? Also, what character are you? I ask because last night the Travel Channel aired Universal Orlando's Horror Nights and the monsters and mazes looked amazing. I especially loved the look of Max. Carnage (I think that was the name of the maze.)

This special will air again Oct. 12 at 6 p.m.(et) if you monsters want to see yourselves on t.v. :)

well.. it's different every year. I was in the Travel Channel Special, twice, in Maximum Carnage... I was vermin, a mutant human rat. This year I'm taking a break and am working on the streets in Toon Lagoon as an inksplat... which as lame as it sounds, people are actually getting scared.

off topic, if you wanna see one of the ads for HHN this year, http://www.qubefactor.com/~wdwmedia/mkt/randomstuff/hhnxiii_top_120x120.swf

resize the browser window to something tiny, otherwise it won't look right

People are finally getting scared because they fog it so much you can't see a foot in front of you...

I was in ScreamHouse last year and evidentily I am in the Travel Channel special as well. I was the Grim Reaper, which did not return in the weaker version of ScreamHouse.

Have fun this weekend Rob :D

cool pic, mkt!

For some reason I thought the inksplat were those clown characters that run around in the soap suds (which reminded me of one of those crazy club parties in Cancun...lol that's a different topic  )

The other night I went to Knotts Scary Farm (another big haunt down here in southern California) and noticed a lot of similar themes for the mazes in both parks. i.e. Your Scary Tales 2 is too much like knott's Malice in Wonderland (Alice in wonderland gone bloody).

So did a black cloak in a dark room. The only people Carnage scared were those with epilepsy and everybody knows it.

Woo! I went to HHN Wednesday and had a blast! We saw all of the houses plus Bill and Ted.

Visited DrIvE In first just to get it over with. It was terrible. OK....... on one side of a wall, Michael Meyers. Him again on the other side of the wall, different height and build. I could see both at the same time. Sad. Made me want to .

I picked up a set of lit up devil horns on the way to Psycho Scareapy. Several of the insane called me "Master" and one actually got on her knees and praised me. Nice.

Bill and Ted's was ok. The Appliance Direct and Pirates jokes were pretty funny. My favorite classical piece was played during the Pirates scene. (think Tower of Terror commercial)

Saw Scream House twice. Jason (HorizonsMan) was in there. Yaay! Had another comment on my horns. The things just randomly blink..... One of the scareactors said "Your horns are dyslexic!"

Ship of Screams and Funhouse were more bizarre than scary. Funhouse had the longest line of the night. Saw Lizard Man while waiting. My brother-in-law (wears padlocks for earrings and can fit a quarter up his nose) would love this guy.

Jungle of Doom was probably my favorite. The whole tribal theme was impressive. Well done!

Overall it was a great time! I'll be back with my frequent fear pass.... Happy haunting!

I said that tonight too... I saw one of my old Epcot Entertainment managers was there as a guest... he laughed... unlike last year when I told that to an MK entertainment manager who replied with a quick F**k You
