Hi everyone! I have spoke with some of you regarding this topic, but the more I hear....the more Iam considering a change in my plans. We have reservations for breakfast and lunch in the MK on Halloween and also have tickets to the party that night, Yes, making a huge day of it. I keep hearing people say that Iam "crazy" for comsidering MK on Halloween. Any input or suggestions?

I'm not sure what your question is. Halloween is crowded. Attending MNSSHP on Halloween is not an official diagnosis in the DSM-5, so you're in the clear there. :)

Halloween is on a Thursday so it's should be okay during the day since local kids are in school and there is a limited number of tickets sold for the party so again it should be fine.

Actual Halloween date is very crowded but we've dont the party in September before and it's not that bad for crowd levels.

October used to be a very low crowd month. Not anymore... Do not go in October, and stay away on Halloween day. Christmas day was the most empty day at MK that I have ever experienced. But that was in 2008.

Halloween and late October tends to be slightly crowded. It really depends. I mean your definition of crowded and my definition of crowded may not be the same. Christmas vacation and Spring break is crowded, Halloween crowds should be a lot easier to manage. The only problem when visiting in October is MK closing early for MNSSHP, but if you buy tickets for the event, you should be fine. Also I suggest going on a weekday, preferably Tuesday or Wednesday. Avoid the weekends and Friday. Other than that, you're good. Halloween is a great time to visit! The decorations and the extra magic adds to the experience!

We were at the party on Halloween night last year and thought the crowds were not much different than other MNSSHP we've attended in mid October. It was such a hoot watching all the people in costume when they started arriving. That was probably the biggest difference... more adults in costume.
