Do the rooms at DLP have hairdryers? Couldn't find any mention of them on the site, and I have limited luggage space flying on EasyJet from Edinburgh.

Thanks for the info. That is the resort I am looking at (I noticed the smaller resorts don't have air conditioning) so I've upped my standards a bit! AC is worth it to me!

You're welcome. Sequoia is lovely. Montana rooms are all new. Read my report in this forum for more info :)

Read your report - made me even more excited. Just confirmed my reservations - arriving on Sept. 2nd. Now keeping an eye on the weather so I know what to pack! Thank you for all your help.

We go every November, and never needed air conditioning! Although I believe the last few days have been extremely hot in Paris.

Sequoia Lodge is my favourite hotel, although we've had to stay at the Cheyenne the last few years for the bunk beds. Don't miss Crush, it really is a lovely ride, I love it.

Have a great time :)

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it. I hve been keeping an eye on the weather, and it has been warm, so the A/C may come in handy. I only had time (and budget) for 3 days, but I am so excited.

3 days should be fine, the Studios park is small and the parks have extended their opening hours so you'll have more time to get everything in. Also the parks are right next to each other and the hotels only a few minutes walk away which all saves time.

One thing worth remembering, it is not wdw, try not to compare the two, just accept it for the beautiful park it is. Having said that, I'll contradict myself and say some of the individual rides are better that their wdw equivalents.

I don't think I'll have a problem making comparisons. I am actually looking forward to experiencing all the differences between the 2 parks. 11 more days!!

3 days is a minimum now. Studios still are 10-7. Even running to Crush at 930am you'll be hard pushed to do the whole park in one day in average seasonal crowds.

When we stayed at the cheaper resorts (Hotel Cheyenne or Hotel Santa Fe) in the late 90s there were not hairdryers in the rooms but housekeeping provided one upon request, The Newport Bay Club and Sequoia Lodge had them in their bathrooms -

DL Parc does. The Studios do not.

That is interesting. We definitely arrived at the Studios half an hour or so before opening and the park was already open. We had 3 rides in Crush first off with minimal queues, we always give that priority as there is nothing like it at wdw. We assumed it was extra magic hours!

Riiiight.

Studios opens at 10 officially. More often than not the gates open at 930, with Crush sometimes opening early too before everything else. The official spiel still plays at 10 and everything else opens.

But there is a nagging feeling in my mind they did do a trial of studios EMH last year for a few weeks.

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
