People who can't accept people for who they are, just have problems with their own personality. It's the same as with people who liked to plague the 'weaker' pupils in high school.

This is what Mickey & Minnie were supposed to look like... but this guy named Walt Disney showed up and messed up everything :hammer:

How in the world do you keep cool wearing all black all day in the sun? :veryconfu I usually go in shorts and a t-shirt and I *still* sweat like nobody's business.

I've seen a couple of goth groups wandering around the parks and that has been my only thought about that subject. I hope they have fun!

Most of my wardrobe consists of black jeans and black shirts...you get used to it. I NEVER wear shorts (personal reasons) so ever since i was like 10 i have been used to THAT. As with most floridians..im smart and stay indoors where there is nice air conditioned habitation ;)

Well I guess you learn something every day, thanks for answering my question!

Yes, I do agree about the A/C, if it goes out at my house here in Orlando it drives me crazy.

(and of course you stay in so you don't DIE from the sunlight!!!)

I don't have a problem at all with the goth thing. But the acid thing in the story....NO WAY! Completely unacceptable! As to the rest if they don't like the goth just don't stare! Who's to say that what we wear is normal! :lookaroun :lookaroun :lookaroun

What is it that scares you about him? The color black?

I'm just trying to piece things together. Either way you look at it.. Its cold hearted. Noone should be judged by their looks period. Even if you tell the person you get scared by their looks can hurt them.

K I'm out.

Its the book and cover thing again. Some of the most interesting people I've ever met were the ones nobody thought I would be associated with. I try to look past the package to the goods inside.
Enjoyed the article, thanks.

CEO...

First of all...wdwprincess and myself were JOKING with Dan. We both like Dan a lot...and I for one look up to him for his accomplishments.

Would he stand out in a crowd (especially at Disney)? Yes...but that doesn't mean that the two of us don't like him!

Would I ever go up to someone and say "Hey, I'm scared of you because you're a freak!" No...why? because who am "I" to say that??? What makes ME normal?

Dan, I know you didn't, but if you took what wdwprincess and I have said in a negative way, I apologize...but I know you didn't.

The funniest thing is "Goth" at Disney. It just doesn´t match! If they had gone to Cedar Point or IoA or a cool rollercoaster/thrill rides park, it would go unadverted... but how funny would it be seeing a bunch of goth guys in a Small World boat? Or at the Tiki Room or at CBJ? Or in line for a picture with Mickey? :hammer:
I guess they also have their little tender heart.... :animwink:

OOOH a pic with Mickey!

Katie has a few Goth friends, I've met them and they are very nice.
They even take the time to say Hi when I'm in the store by myself.
Good parenting.
