Hacienda de San Angel interior concept art

The Epcot Manifesto
From what I've seen of this place, I'm getting super excited about the new restaurant. I know that the official Disney blog had a Q&A a week or so ago with the chef, and the fact that they are staying (supposedly) very traditional Mexican and not tex-mex (not that there is anything wrong with that) has me really wanting to eat there.
We have ADR at the San Angel Inn this December trip, just because we think our toddler will love the atmosphere, but I'm guessing I'll be wishing I was eating outside at the Hacienda!

Everything about this place sounds like it is going to be great. I really hope that the management and chef keep the menu as good as they made it sound to complement what seems to be a very nice restaurant.

Once this venue opens do you think there will be a better place to watch Iillminations from? (Control room on top of MX not withstanding)

Granted the Laser effects may be difficult to see overall, but then with the current crop they might as well turn them off anyways. :lookaroun

Let's hope the food is as good as the building looks! (Though I'll always have a special place in my heart for the San Angel Inn.)

These pictures don't do it much justice. In reality it is much more beautiful. Rich colors and textures and lots of places to cast your eye.

Looks beautiful though I am still confused by how they're doing the CS lunch and TS dinner. Are there specific rooms for each? Where are the counter service windows? I'm just plain lost on the execution. The idea sounds great though. (Wish they'd implement it at some existing TS)

As far as I know it's working like this.

COUNTER SERVICE
From lunch time to park close outside, and until 4pm, in some of the indoor space.

TABLE SERVICE
From 4pm indoors until park close.

Similar to Yak and Yeti perhaps?

I'll be taking advantage of the counter service time! I hope the table service food isn't as terrible as the San Angel Inn—that would waste a beautiful structure.

So counter service fare will be available all day then, not just until 4PM?
