Is the 10% discount JUST for the Disney Chase VISA credit card or does it apply to the Disney Chase VISA debit card as well? We have the Chase VISA debit card with Mickey and the Gang. When I opened the account I was told that it does give the same discount but I cannot find the information anywhere.

According to this, yes, for purchases over $50.

I really hate that some analyst is making all these hundreds of people recite a soul crushing "do you have?" script all day every day. I shed a tear every time at CVS, at the grocer, etc.. It is a depressing orwellian manifestation of economic class that I can't un-see.

For the most part I do not have a "rewards card" for this reason, and because they track me, and because the discounts are puny. There are two exceptions when the discounts are large enough for me to play along, and even in those cases I don't need them to force the poor workers to ask about it.

I feel the same when they ask "is coke OK?". I ordered a cola, any cola, but someone always makes sure to force the server to ask about the brand.
Actually no one really forces the servers to say that, most folks do have a preference to which brand they drink, asking that question prevents a lot of grumbling and believe me, diners absolutely voice their complaints if they are served the wrong brand.
I know when I use to serve someone would ask for a coke and I would automatically ask if Pepsi is okay. For you it may not be a big deal but trust and believe many folks only drink their favorite.
Lol, no the workers are not held at knife point but most retailers want you to try and upsell the merchandise.

Truthfully the average person especially at a drug store doesn't mind being asked because it usually means you might get a price break. Lol yep in my world a dollar here and a dollar there adds up, but then I'm a couponer

Both. We have debit, also works for the Visa Photospots, and same dining locations outside the parks.

The real perk of this card used to be the resort discounts but those have pretty much vanished over the last 2 to 3 years. They still offer them but for 2 week windows in the worst times of the year to travel to WDW.

I signed up when they offered the $250 signup bonus. The money was going to sit in account until vacation anyway, but yeah the resort discounts have yet to benefit us because of the time of year we visit.

Very confusing post. Are they asking if you will be using a Disney Visa CC, your Disney Visa Rewards Redemption Card, or some sort of Disney Gift Card?

I mean... this is the same Visa CC that has the placard and ad at every register...

And its common if they ask if you have any discounts available...

So it's not like some new awkward intervention. I'd be more peeved if they pushed it and then didn't know how to complete the deal and held up the rest of the line for it.

Who is getting upset?

There’s always someone who will say being asking if they have a Visa Chase is not the old Disney, Ruined their holiday and is the reason for horizons closing all those years ago. Any excuse for a moan about anything
