Crump is going to WIN MASSIVELY - At least 600M - We will probably not know the actual amount as they will settle out of court.
That’s assuming a lot. If this were an easy win, Crump wouldn’t be doing a PR tour. There’s likely culpability on both sides but he’s framing it so Universal looks guilty in the court of public opinion. Uni (and Mack) will settle to make it go away, but not because this is the clear-cut slam dunk he’s selling.

Ha, PR tours is the strongest tool in his toolbelt!

Here's the press conference happening now:

Am I seeing right? The picture of Kevin is in Disney? It looks like he is holding a StarWars popcorn bucket:

After listening/watching Crump's press conference it does seemed confirmed that Kevin was thrown violently back and forth like a "ragdoll". You can watch the video to hear a more harrowing description. He also mentions the case of the lady that has now been settled and that she described this phenomenon as likely happening to more people. I do think the ride will undergo significant changes- possible new trains altogether. I do not think shoulder restraints will be enough- while they would prevent the entire upper-torso from "ragdolling" to the lap bar and back, an unconscious person could still suffer significant/extreme whiplash with the head and neck falling forward and slamming back.

Yes, the picture of him in front of a sign that says Star Wars Launch Bay is in fact at Disney.
Very Strange! and Disney CANT be happy about this.

It cant be possible Crump's team did this by accident, they can't possibly not know the difference between Universal and Disney!

I wonder why they selected this photo as it must be intentional!

See rollercoaster restraints such as recent B&M coasters that have pull over lap restraints. There is a soft vest underneath that prevent that level where the vests rests on shoulders that would keep you from going forward as well as ears or side of head.

Some vests like with these were already reported onsite for modified seating going in for one seat per train. Now each seat of every train will probably get them as good faith and part of the settlement/for future concerns.

It's probably just a nice photo of him they wanted to use and in no way has any relation to anything other than that. You seem to have a very strange attitude to Kevin's death. I'm aware none of us knew him but the way you're light heartedly posting "Holy Cr@p! Are you seeing this?" etc about him is like you don't have any respect for the man's death.

I am expressing how much of an excellent job Crump is doing and how well Kevin's family will be compensated and it looks like to be Stardust will be shut down watching press conferences like these.

And I assure you, there will be more press conferences like this until Universal settles with Kevin's family.

I wounder if the shutdown/destruction of Stardust will be park of the deal.

I can tell Crump does not know what he is talking about when talking about theme parks. its hard to believe no one on his staff noticed this, but I guess its possible.
He's an attorney.

Not an engineer. Not a hospitality industry employee. Not a theme park expert.

He's on a PR tour to convince the public that Universal is guilty before he's even filed suit, so they'll quickly settle to make it go away - regardless of where the actual fault lies.
