News - Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane status
7am drop lasted for 13.479 secs. BG's 1-20 called at 8:10am as part of the initial wave.
I did manage BG 1 twice. I also got equivalent of 7 for Monday extra hours. It's way easier than RotR. Felt easier than Remy too.

Just got back from WDW and I was able to get the VQ every morning I tried and the individual lightning lane too. The paid lanes stayed open for quite awhile. For example, one day I was at Oga's Cantina in HS and the lady I was talking to was buying a lightning lane for it at around 11 am, she bought it for 2:30pm. But each day may be different.

As others have said, every day is different. You can buy ILL if you don’t get into the virtual queue but remember that only resort guests can buy it at 7 am. Day guests can buy it once EPCOT opens for the day. That said, I was a day guest on June 19 and was able to purchase ILL while on my way to EPCOT.

We didn’t bother with the virtual queue (can’t stand the idea of not knowing when you will need to be around to ride the attraction), but we had zero issues buying the ILL on three separate days, and each time we were able to select the exact time window that we wanted. All that said, however you choose to go, I hope you enjoy the heck out of the ride! It is easily, IMO, one of the best attractions we have ever experienced! Absolute ton of fun!

I liked that we were able to pick times for the individual lightning lanes. My husband gets motion sick, he took Dramamine for Guardians, and he knew he couldn't ride back to back on the coaster so being able to pick a ILL that was still covered by the Dramamine but not too close to the virtual queue was great. We could approximate the time of the VQ from other's posting of times & boarding group numbers.
We’re staying at Contemporary in August. Mom and 21 yo daughter. We have 5 day park hoppers. We have reservations for Epcot one day. So I’m guessing I only have one shot at 7am to get VQ since hoppers start at 2 and trying for VQ again starts at 1. I’m ok with purchasing ILL to ride it in the afternoons or evenings though. Thanks everyone, I enjoy reading all your experiences!

Are you there any Mondays? You'll have a shot that day as well. I do think 7 am is easy to get though.

We woke up 2 days in a row and tried at 7 last weekend. Got very early boarding groups both times. This is nowhere near as crazy as rise of the resistance was when it was only virtual queue or even remi to my knowledge.

If you don’t get in it at 7 am, it’s usually pretty easy to get in it at 1 pm. I was able to hop from DHS to EPCOT this past Saturday and I was able to get into the VQ. ILL is a nice backup option if you don’t mind spending the money….I didn’t!

You will get 3 tries that day. 7 am and if you miss 1pm. Then separately you can try at 6pm. Also ILL available. You could get on it 3x in one day if you get 7am or 1pm (you can only get 1 of those 2) and then purchase ILL as well as trying for 6pm.

Make sure everyone in your party is in your hotel reservation, I thought I was slick by adding my other kids later on(only two out of 5)before ya’ll judge I’m divorced and ex wife let them go last minute, never added them to the reservation, anyways disney resort guests have the 7am window and everyone else is at 8am. Even if you are trying to purchase ILL they cannot be added until 8am.
There’s also a Photopass memory maker pictures, if you don’t see it pop up ,call Them up to look them up!
I wish i could back to the Wonders of Xander store to get more marvel merch! That gauntlet is insanely good haha
