These seem to be two totally different attractions, although arguably they are both the star attraction of their respective parks.

It depends on what you're looking for in an attraction. The thrill and soundtrack is better for Cosmic Rewind, and the queue is debatably more interesting. The theming of Radiator Springs Racers surpasses that though. It's beautiful to look at from hundreds of feet away. And it obviously takes the cake on animatronics. I also like the story of Radiator Springs Racers better, it's simple, doesn't have any characters that no one cares about, and inspires friendly competition. Racers I think is the better overall attraction.

Test Track is a solid ride. Who doesn’t turn into a kid again designing your car? And Testing it? But the ride itself is a slot car kicked up a few notches. RRS is the next levels well beyond Test Track. You don’t design your car but the theming, quality, the scale. It’s a masterpiece.

Cosmic Rewind is a few notches even higher for me though. You have a coaster that feels like you’re roller skating out in the universe, with an extra hit of 80s nostalgia, and a pretty cool storyline. It’s to the 2020s what something like Space Mountain was to the ‘70s.

GotG touches my soul when I ride in a way no other ride has ever come close. It’s hitting on all cylinders for me. Love it! Single most anticipated thing to do again, even after a few trips.

RSR seems like the ride they wanted to build. The ride system, show scenes, racing, facade....It all feels purposeful and comes together well. We get thrill, AA's, gags, scenic design.

CR is Ghost Galaxy 2.0 with a large CGI monster in space swiping at us on a screen. Its a great coaster, but the show building is okay and the gravity building is an eyesore. There are no AA's, no real show scenes or design elements, the characters only appear via screens making it feel like when Six Flags has a Terminator Roller Coaster where they just have a lightly themed queue and some TV's showing a basest level of integration. Cosmic Rewind feels like another idea with Guardians shoehorned into it. Because that's what it is. Great coaster, terrible Disney ride. And unforgivably unfitting for Epcot.

Cosmic Rewind definitely takes it for me. The ride experience not only more thrilling than RSR, but it is also more fun. The music and the motion of the ride are unmatched.

RSR obviously has better theming and storytelling, but the fact that it goes even slower than Test Track was a bit of a let down for our family.

A kid today visits Epcot goes on SS Earth, Mission to Mars and Cosmic Rewind. It’s not bad.

Epcot may not have gone in the direction people wanted and I agree with many of the common points there. Epcot still has a special vibe unlike any other theme park in the world. Cosmic Rewind works in the story of humanity. It’s more Epcot than adding Ratatouille and the Creperie to France will ever be.

Test Track does nothing but go in a circle and a straight away. There are no twists and turns and head choppers. Test track is on the side of a building in an unthemed back stage area while RSR is immersive.

I'm all behind Spaceship Earth and Mission Space. Cosmic Rewind could have worked if they worked a little harder. I would have loved to see Guardians do Edutainment. It should have been their own fault for causing us to go back to the Big Bang rather than this convoluted plot with a Celestial going Ghost Galaxy on us. Give me some AA's of Rocket and Groot. But instead its simultaneously a thinly themed Guardians ride and also a thinly themed basic space coaster. Luckily the track, music, and ride vehicles make the experience because it certainly wasn't the writing nor the execution of the show elements.

Radiator Springs Racers is a more impressively built attraction (the landscape, animatronics, show scenes, etc.) but has the misfortune of being tied to Cars, easily one of my most hated franchises.

Cosmic Rewind's IP is easier for me to stomach but even though it's technically a new ride system for Disney, "roller coaster in the dark" doesn't exactly break the mold.

Given all of that, for me it would come down to which ride system do I think is more fun and which park would I rather be standing in before/after the ride is done. I would much rather be on a roller coaster in the dark listening to "September" knowing that I am stepping out into EPCOT afterwards. If I want to ride Test Track's ride system, I can do that right after Cosmic Rewind without having to listen to Tow Mater.

Both are great in their own way. RsR is a great overall attraction with theming, beauty, and the vibes it gives you entering the ride. I wish the race was longer would be my only gripe. Would love to see them use this ride system in GE for a POD race ride where the bulk of the ride is the race.

Cosmic rewind is just a blast to ride and that is my biggest priority. Theming is on, not up to Rise standards or anything but the music and ride system make up for it. Really hope they bring this ride to avengers campus, even if they re-theme it to another Marvel property. Much like expedition everest I feel like the ride experience is too good to be in only one park.

There are plenty of high speed portions inside like the sudden whiplash during the first break test/ capability test, and the inside lateral forces. Test track is supposed to
show off real cars not a cartoon and fits epcot far more than carsland would.
