This was already known, but Disney has acknowledged you do not have to be in EPCOT for the 1pm Virtual Queue if you have already tapped into EPCOT earlier in the day. Previously it said Guests must be in EPCOT to join the virtual queue.

If i get a boarding group for Guardians and it gets called, but i am not feeling well enough to ride it at that time, can i ride it later since the boarding group was called earlier. For example, they call it at 10am but i am not feeling well enough to ride and finally about 12 i am feeling better - can i go then or did I miss my chance?

Everyone needs to have previously tapped into Epcot to try for 1 pm VQ. No one needs to be in the park at 1 if you have done so.
