Just wanted to give a quick update to where things stand with GotG: CR and the current VQ situation.

Things have finally stabilized again with the VQ drops after some concerning days a couple weeks ago in relation to ops.

We are currently on Day 85 of the VQ system in place for CR.

In perspective, Rat last had its VQ on Day 101 (Jan 9) and standby on Day 102 (Jan 10).
It was announced on Day 98 (Jan 6) by Disney that Rat would transition to standby in 4 days time.

If we use the same timeline for CR,
Day 098 - Sept 1 - standby announced
Day 101 - Sept 4 - final VQ day
Day 102 - Sept 5 - standby opens

While it's not guaranteed CR will follow the exact same timeline, it doesn't hurt to compare/wish. Hopefully in the next two weeks, we will get some news!

We were group 105, but arrived late because of our Remy LL. So we were in the queue during the shutdown. Our youngest was too short by a half inch, but rider swap allowed both older kids to ride twice (1 used the youngest pass). We all had a blast. Thanks for all the tips.

I remember being told that it would be next to impossible to ride this without paying for an ILL. As it turns out it looks like capacity and availability with BG's has really hit the sweet spot on this attraction.

They could definitely push it a bit more and add a few more guests but it is a pleasant experience currently while VQ is still a thing.
