GOTG: Cosmic Rewind has been open for two months now!

So lets look at the trends again for the past 60+ days!
  • 7am drops have reached the minutes-range during the past month.
  • 1pm drops have kinda stayed the same, except today being an outlier.
  • The longest drop record of 5.5 hours was set on July 1st.
  • 6pm drops still fill up in under 10 secs
  • Overall, for the past month, things have stagnated. First 30 days things were trending upwards, but now it's pretty much level'd.

At this point, GOTG: CR has been open for exactly 61 days. Compared to other ex-VQ rides, Rat was on VQ for 101 days before swapping to standby. Announced Jan 6, switch happened on Jan 10.

If CR were to similarly follow this timeline, expect the end of August towards beginning of September for the switch to standby to occur.

Also, CR's afternoon drops has been staying open longer than Rat at this point. However, this could be attributed to ride capacity, height requirement, rollercoaster vs dark ride, demand, etc.

Final Day 61 Stats (7/26):
7am: 54.1 secs
1pm: 112.9 secs

BG 155 (-37) is the last BG called for the day.

Average pace: 3-4mins/BG

Notable 15+ min stoppages today:
8:48 - 9:43am
11:13 - 12:58pm
2:15 - 2:43pm
3:38 - 4:06pm
8:02 - 8:31pm

Note: Today has been one of the worst days for the ride. And this comes off a flawless run yesterday.
A rough total of 246 mins of downtime, in which translates to the ride being offline about 35% of the day, making it actually the worst day operationally since opening.

So the afternoon drop was only 2 minutes? Which presumably reflected a smaller than typical number of BGs released since the ride was having troubles.

Which to me somewhat illustrates that the generally great reliability of CR probably has meant greater supply of BGs and helped drive the longer open windows unlike previous rides that were less reliable

I'm not sure that's it, considering Rise had the same issues with acquiring boarding groups even on days when the ride was operating flawlessly with little to no downtime. As @gerarar mentioned somewhere above, Ratatouille's groups were actually going more quickly than Guardians on some days. Did Rise ever have a time when they were available for more than a few minutes? It may have; I don't remember.

That's certainly the explanation for why they went so quickly this afternoon, though, especially after the morning drop was available for a relatively long time (relative being the key word there).
