Disney has announced Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will transition from a Virtual Queue to a standby queue beginning February 25, 2025.

Definitely interested to see how it is handled - hopefully at a minimum they add umbrellas.
If they are apart they will have drink carts near the queue

They initially had umbrellas and stanchions over by the backstage access door for an extended queue, perhaps with the intention that it would come off of VQ earlier or that they would be necessary for the opening in spite of VQ. They can just restore that.

We knew this was coming but I'm going to miss two opportunities for advance riding -- LLSP and VQ. Although the VQ was pretty much the standby queue with a call back time. Now its LLSP and standby.

But at least we'll be able to reach and cross the special 1000-day milestone for the GOTG VQ!!

It has not yet been added to the list for Early Entry (TRON hasn't been added either).
While Cosmic Rewind has not officially been added to the list of attractions open during Early Theme Park Entry, operational hours during that time period have now been added to the Walt Disney World website:
