EPCOT Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I’m no insider, but I expect at least one preshow. They even showed this off a while back with the Rocket and Groot (AA’s?) that seems like it’s a preshow. I am hoping for some akin to Rise, I don’t think it will be anything near what Rise does with it’s preshows but hopefully at least one great preshow to set the stage. Like Mission Breakout for example, I believe we should get something like that.

Right, at least one pre-show is confirmed (both in the concept art and in the building schematics).

But is everything else - apart from one pre-show and the ride - simply "queue space," or is there another distinct part of the experience?

That's what'll be interesting to see.

I hope the "multi-part experience" continues being employed, at least to a limited degree (even if not anywhere near the extent of RotR), rather than RotR being a total one-off.

I’ve heard the queue space described as impressive. We know about the Galaxarium, some kind of exhibit (like the collector’s fortress), the preshow, and then the recently revealed look at the load. They have really kept this under wraps, but from what we have seen it looks very well themed and impressive. Of course, we don’t know that since we don’t have that many pictures to go off, as well as few insiders.

We don’t even know how the Guardians factor into the ride in the first place.

New D23 magazine confirms it’s the “You go through an unrelated attraction and then the Guardians show up” trope that’s been theorized pretty much since the beginning.

I figured that, I mean more of the finer details. Why are they at the Wonders of Xandar? Why are guests boarding Star Jumpers in the first place? Are we meant to be going to Xandar? Where does time travel factor into the story?

I would imagine the first mortgage was for the two week plus stay at WDW?
Don't forget Genie+. :D
Staying offsite my friend in LBV. We're not going to pay for Genie+ as coming from the UK we get a great value 14 day pass so are determined not to have to use Genie+, fingers crossed ;)

Let us know. Hoping you the best given the crowds we have been hearing about.
Thanks. I've been looking everyday at wait times on the App. We know the parks very well and have no issue getting there early, with a bit of planning and 14 days of park reservations we're fairly confident of getting everything we want to done.

Show me a single picture of a Star Blaster from the comics or movies sitting on a dock similar to the monstrosity they built and I will concede the argument.

I'm incensed it's not floating. Sheesh.
