A Few Changes to Fantasyland!

OK, in my first draft of Fantasyland, I forgot a couple of things. First of all, I would like to transplant Mickey's Phillharmagic to Toontown, if that's OK with everyone else. Also, Peter Pan will be a small flying coaster. Here ar the two new attractions:

ALICE'S MAD TEA PARTY
You spin around in teacups like the one @ WDW. Need I say more?

BALD MOUNTAIN
Ride straight into Cherbanog's(sp?) lair, filled with fire, and rescue the fairies and leave before you are burnt to a crisp.

Later Today: MAIN STREET
Tomorrow: CARNIVAL!, HOTELS, & A THEME PARK TBD

Maybe Skull Isle can be a new land in the MK. It can be located in between Adventureland and Fantasyland.

I can't wait to hear what you got for Adventureland.

And remember if WDWFan is still going to work on the project i would like to mike and match the better of the two.

If i'm not mistaken, I believe I also volunteered to do a resort (sorry i'm too lazy to look back:lol: )? If that was the case I will start working on it right away. I'd like to do some more, anything else I can help with?

okay. Finally, here is my Adventureland list! I was thinking that there could be an island here instead of Frontierland, so it would also have Hook Isle which would kindof be a sub-land. But anyway, here's the list!
1. Jungle Cruise-take a daring journey through the jungles of Africa in this small, wooden boat. Watch out! The HeadHunters could be on the lookout, we have been seeing them a lot latley.

2. Pirates of the Caribbean-You thought you were the Pirates didn't you?!?! WRONG!!! Get ready to sail through the town of Mercado and meet some of the worst Pirates EVER! If you look closely, you might see Jack Sparrow or Captain Barbosa!

3. Enchanted Tiki Room (original)-Goes by original storyline.

4. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Mawsea-Get ready to take a wild ride through the Temple of the Mawsea people. You are on a quest to find the Forbiden Jewel. The Mawsea's have held it sacred to thousands of years, but the secret is now out! Be the first to, maybe, redeem the jewel! But watch out...the Mawsea's are very good with Booby-Traps, they could get you!

5. BlackBeard's Mini Boats-Remote Control Boats

HOOK ISLE
1. Skull Rock-Climb through Skull Rock, be careful though...Danger lurks inside.

2. Hook's Pirate Ship-Take a tour of the Grand (ehhem ) Ship of Captain Hook. Watch out for the Pirates!

3. Mist Mountain-Ride through the Jungles of Hook Isle on this fast paced, wild Roller Coaster. You will curve your way all around Mist Mountain and then even Through it! be careful though, the bats really like the caves!

4. Mist Mountain Amphitheater-Experience a Beautiful, New version of Fantasmic! here! Mist Mountain (roller coaster) rises behind the theatre, but don't worry, we don't run it at night! (Legend says that is because of the dangers within the Mountain) This theatre holds roughly 5,000 people! The mountain island, at night, turns into a Beautiful Mountain Stage for Fantasmic! (script coming soon)

You can start making shows for the diffrent lands in the MK.

or you could start thinking of a new land for MK or Start think of a theme for a new adventure/theme park

In this Main Street, there will be a covering like at Tokyo Disney. This will be to cool it down during steamy Brazilian summers.

MAIN STREET VEHIClES

They will traverse the front area of the park like the ones at Disney World.

MAIN STREET CINEMA

Will show classic Mickey Mouse cartoons all day, as well as interspersed clips from episodes of the Disneyland TV show.

MAIN STREET TROLLEYS

These will be horesdrawn carriges that ride up and down the Main Street.

CARNIVAL! Will be the Downtown Disney area of the park. It is named for the celebration that Brazilians have the day before Ash Wednesday. It will becomposed of two areas: Village Center and Festival Island.

Please don't post the whole World of Adventure's park.Remember this is a group project. So you can give us a discription so we can get a feel of what the themes and what the park is about.And you can post the lands so we can all work on this park together.

Sounds good.But can every one slow down.And before you post an idea for a new theme park or downtown disney type area please discuse it with us first.

Sorry... kinda got caught up in the excitement. I'll try to slow down a bit. As for now, my theory for the new park is Disney's World Adventures theme park. I would like it tobe in 6 sections, each named for a different region, country, or continent. Kinda like WS, but with more rides. Please post comments!

So many things to critique so little time, so I just won't....

Just letting you all know that i am still an active member of this board, sort of, and that I have not faded off into retierment just yet, and if I am going to sustain and credbility I shoudl probably poke my head in everyonce in a while.

Thereby I am offering myself to this project as a consultant meaning that if you guys run into problems can't think of something or have a question which a mechanical expertise would be helpful I will lend a hand.

Here are a few sugestsion though to keep your project afloat so it is not run into the ground by apathy like the Idea Thread

One, do not have a leader but an organizer, someone who can funnel the the gorup input but will not be the ultamite decider of the process

Two, take votes on everything before a decision is made just so each member feels that their vot e is important, feel free to argue amongst yourselves and rational why who is right on what topic, but collectivley what the gorup votes on goes

Thirdly and most importantly, do not individually design lands, have each person in the group design a land with their own ideas then come together as a group and vote on what things to keep from each land and make one big combined land. Do the same thing with hotels, and other park designs as well.

Personally I think the main reason why the Idea thread failed was because individuals designed the lands and while people were able to give individual input on the whole one persons unagreed upon ideas went through and people began to feel like they had little input that and the horriblly unorganized nature of the thread lead to it's total apathetic demise


Oh and if you think I am just some random person throwing my wieght around I sugesst you look here for a sample of my work in SOJI and/or just seach the forums by my name to see samples of my work

Disney's Grand Americana Resort & Spa: A celebration of America within the flagship resort.

Disney's Giza Beach Resort: An Egyptian themed hotel on the beach. A low-deluxe to moderate price range.

The two first two hotels I think we should work on are Disney's Giza Beach Resort and the World Showcase.I like these ideas the best. The Grand american resort that you mention could be the ameican themed resort in the World Showcase restort.

I am currently thinking up a theme for an adventure park mixed with a water park. and a hotel. I will post what i have come up with when we finish the first two hotels.ANd then we can start this if you like the idea.

Well, I'm glad the project is getting more organized (as opposed to my locker:lol: ) Here are my ideas for Giza Beach (I would like to head this part of the project if possible)

-large pyramid/sphinx in front
-suites in pyramid (think Luxor Las Vegas)
-rooms in buildings made to look like Egyptian ruins
-similar price range to WL
-large sand beach area
-Arabian cuisine
-large pool
-art deco room furnishings

Well, I know we are working on hotels for the moment. I forget who's idea the World Showcase hotel, but if they don't say they want to do it, I would not have an issue with you doing that (though spmeone else might, so check) or you could do a new hotel, with the consent of ImagineerFan04.
