Sure everybody loves DiVine....



But I think they would like Groot even more, especially if they were to go all Living Character Initiative on him and give him animatronic facial articulation.

Heck maybe even an LCI Rocket on his shoulder?

Though I imagine that would make wearing the rig a bit more cumbersome for the performer.

Sure it's a bit loose with the theming, but come on....they're building a land dedicated to blue cat people who ride on butterfly-pteranodons....Groot wouldn't exactly be out of place.




(not to mention gotg was a far superior film to james cameron's cgi ego trip)

You've got another vote for Groot as part of AK. They've transformed the character into a more kid friendly character that could emphasize the need to care for nature & ecology theme of AK. I'd like to see him more out in the open than camouflaged and surprising guests on the trail though.

I'll second that. He'll have a snappy reply for any question asked of him. Plus they'd shift bucket loads of dancing Groot in plant pot toys. It's a no brainer.

Maybe they could as far as to animate groots face.. and maybe make Rocket on his shoulder a talking AA .. but.. light enough for the character in the groot suit to walk around in dx

I would only agree to this if the Aspect of Animal Kingdom became Adventure Kingdom...Then we have excuses to put other characters there..*cough* Indiana Jones ride *cough*

A stilted performer with Rocket on his shoulder? Seems to me I may have heard a murmuring or two of something being worked on.

I don't know how they'll be after the bean counters take their toll, but I can tell you that the blue-sky concepts for Groot, Iron Man, and Hulk are all pretty fantastic, with articulations that haven't been done before and a level of detail that is beyond what the movie makers ever had to physically create.

Hawkeye and Black Widow are also in development, but who knows when (or where) we'll ever see any of these characters utilized.
