Grocery delivery to WDW resort hotel

Hi all

Next month, we're coming to WDW from the UK. During this trip, we'd like to order groceries to be delivered to our resort (Coronado Springs). The shop we were looking at in particular was Kroegers.

I'm guessing that making grocery selections is relatively straightforward. What may not be straightforward is paying for the groceries (given that our payment details will have a UK address, so whether or not the website will allow this) and then actually getting the delivery to our resort.

Has anyone else from the UK had a grocery delivery from Kroegers (or any other provider) to a WDW resort and if so, how successful was it and what were the steps involved.

Thanks!

I've never had an issue with using my UK bank account for Walmart and Target orders when we're in the US, so that side of things will hopefully be fine. Kroger deliveries aren't one I've seen mentioned too often on sites when it comes to groceries for WDW. I don't know if you use Touring Plans, but they have a good article on a few different operators and how the process works in general: https://touringplans.com/blog/grocery-delivery-to-your-disney-world-resort/

We were looking at doing an order for our trip in November, also staying at Coronado. But I think we're just going to Uber/Lyft to the Walmart ten minutes away and grab the things we need instead, rather than do a Walmart/Kroger/Publix delivery.

The Touring Plans blog looks interesting. I'll check it out, so thanks for that.

Keep in mind that your Disney resort may charge you a delivery fee as well. I believe that we paid $25 or so to Beach Club for accepting an Amazon Fresh delivery and bringing it to our room in December 2023.

Hi,
I haven’t tried using Kroger’s. But my attempt at ordering from Instacart whilst staying at OKW was thwarted because my phone number was a UK one.

Despite doing live chat and being assured I could order without a US # we couldn’t complete the order.,

We ended up getting an Uber to Publix and doing the shop ourselves.
