reality is... no credible source has claimed 100% one way or another what the dragon will do.

Most believe it will have fire effects... but to have a fire effect with no movement seems.. odd. Having the dragon up there when it does NOTHING.. would be even more odd.

I don't expect a full movement figure, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have limited occasional movement. Still trying to figure out what that pre-made hold in the tail be about...

Idk about electronics, but it has a massive natural gas/propane component. I hope the "yeti" imagineers had NOTHING to do with this project.
It is the tallest structure there, correct. They surely too that into account. I was more thinking that it's gonna get hit a lot. Planes get hit a lot as well, and they are full of fuel and electronics.

that's why structures have lightning rods incorporated into the design...

Great pictures, but where are they taken from? The reason I ask is because I want to know if that support the Dragon is on would be hidden from ground level. Or will something be built around it?
Based on the released art the dragon is to be perched atop a dome that is not yet present.

Also, those white cross beams are most likely only for craning it in. The white brace on its neck is most likely also temporary.

The one thing that stands out to me though is how *visible* it is from across the park. Yes, it's probably meant to be a "weenie" to attract interest and draw people to that part of the park, but it's odd to be able to see it from all the way across the park.

Alternately, it may be another example of Uni designers seemingly only thinking about sightlines from within the themed area they're designing and not how it'll look from other areas of the park.

I think it'd have a much bigger impact if you couldn't see it, and then you walk into Diagon Alley and *BAM* there's a freakin' DRAGON!!!!
