Hello everyone! Happy to be here. My name is John and I found some wonderful threads here, and had to join.
My grandfather is John DeCuir, Sr. and had a few contributions to Disney heritage - he designed the Diamond Horseshoe Revue backdrop, as well as overseeing the design of Hall of Presidents. He also worked on some early concept ideas for the Space pavilion for the original EPCOT Center (which never came to fruition - no relation to the current Mission:Space attraction...)
My father is John DeCuir Jr. and designed Spaceship Earth, Communicore, EPCOT in general, as well as other attractions like Alien Encounter and Muppet*Vision 3D.
As for me, I'm just a starry-eyed Disney fan, a geek here in the Pacific Northwest who loves all things Disney, and I'm just happy to be here. Happy to help answer any questions you might have about my family!
