They don't live up to their potential. They lean toward business hotel blah.

Furthermore, they just add more rooms rather than add things to make them worthwhile, like the light show, the Jungle Cruise game, etc.

Quantity over quality can be a very bad thing.

As a youngster, I thought the monorail stop at the hotel was cool. We always just drove home, but a stay at the hotel with a commute into the park on the monorail in the morning seemed magical.
