Great trip with sad ending

My fiancee and I were in the World for the past 4 days. She was so excited to have finally gotten her new Alex and Ani bracelets that she's been waiting to get since we booked this trip. Well, yesterday she put them in her bag and at some point throughout the day while we were in Animal Kingdom or Epcot they must have slipped out of her bag. She didn't notice until this morning when she went looking for them to wear them. She is devastated. She lost one of her other ones that she owned before but that one is easily replaced, we can just go to the store. The two Disney ones are much harder to replace since you can only get them at Disney. We were down there celebrating our anniversary and her new job that she starts today and she had to leave for work in tears. I feel so bad for her, I don't know what to do. I just got off the phone with Lost & Found but they didn't have anything there. I was really hoping someone had stumbled upon them and turned them in. :(

It's a double edge sword... eBay is great, it replaces what she lost but at the same time when you look down it's the same as the piece of jewelry you lost, but the memories are gone. You can't replace the bracelet you found and decided to purchase when on a specific vacation.

Losing stuff sucks man, sorry you had to do that

I haven't gone with eBay yet. I was going to wait to see if anything turns up at Lost & Found. If I don't get anything from there, are you thinking I could call someone to actually order it from them? I thought about this but wasn't sure if that would be a possibility.

I'm not sure of they can connect you with the shop directly, was it in a hotel or a park? because you'll probably be able to get in touch with the shop if it's in a hotel, will be harder if it's a park. like I said, you might just get the right cm who will do everything they can to help you out

I'm really sorry. Losing something that evokes good memories can be quite painful. I'd call and be persistent about getting through to the shop. Good luck.

Hope they turn up bro!!! Once we lost our cheap camera back in the 35MM days. The roll of film was on picture 35, meaning only one shot left....didn't care much about the camera, just wanted the film (35 undeveloped photos).

Keep calling and don't give up!

Just donned on me that some veiwing this may not know what a roll of film is...

I hope they turn up, but I agree with others call Guest Relations. They have helped my family in a time of need (misplaced ornaments) and daughter's bracelet turned up in Lost and Found in MK. Good Luck!

There is a number you can call to order it from Disney but I can't remember what the number is. You can describe the bracelet to them and maybe they can help you order a new one.

I'm sorry I hope it turns up. But if not.. My daughter had bought a ring while there and she lost it when we got home.. I called the phone number on the receipt and they connected me with the store.. the lady was so nice. I bought another and we got it within a week.

i would call the lost and found at whatever park/hotel it was. if they do not have any turned in, phone wdw mail order and see if you can order them

Well I gave it two weeks and lost and found never got anything. I'm assuming someone out there is enjoying some free bracelets. Oh well. The good news is that I got the number for WDW Mail Order and was able to purchase the items! Now we wait for the package. Yay. She's going to be so excited. I'm much happier going through this route than through eBay because it feels a little more special knowing that they are coming direct from Disney. (Is that weird? haha) Oh, and we actually picked up an extra bracelet for her mom to give as a gift so I'm going to tell her to keep that one and give the one that's coming to her mom. That way she will have two of them that we physically purchased down in the World and only one will be via mail order. Hey, the small things count some times.
