Or how about the one with the monotone voice. Who likes to elogate the last worddddd.

That may have been him.

Had sort of reddish hair, wore glasses.

Good tour guide. Just needs a bit of caffine is all.

Definitely love the ride. It's a long one so you feel waiting in line is worth it. It's fun with a lot to see. You have to love movies though, obviously.

It's funny - We went on Living With The Land Boat Ride at Epcot. It was the first time in years I had been on it, and it was all different. I liked it, but the guide we had (who was knowledgable) almost put me to sleep. He had this dragging, nasaly voice and just sounded so bored and disinterested.
The last time I went on The Land's boat ride, the guide was hard to understand because of ESL (English as a Second Language), which I'm usually accustomed to because of the several Hispanics and Hungarians I work with.

Oh I just remembered something! I once went on The Land ride with guide who was so sick, she kept sniffing and snorting throughout the entire ride. Everyone on the boat felt so bad for her. She made it through the ride like a champ, but she really should have called in sick. I guess she used up all of her sick days or something. Really horrrible.

If everyone just requested to have Emma from the UK as their guide, like me and my friends did every time we went on, everyone would have a great time. Best GMR cast member of all time.

I liked the ride this past trip, was my first time. We had a young WASPish looking guy who was very good.

I think we had the redhead guy on the land.....

He was quite uninspired...

I really love this ride! They have actually updated the Munchkins at the Wizard of Oz scene. Personally, though, I think they look a little scarier (as they're much more realistic and detailed than their counterparts before them) :)

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
I think what lets this down most is the CMs that feel they have to give their spiel at 200MPH so that it is barely intelligible. It may need a bit of a revamp if only to the script.

While I love this attraction, I would like for them to update this attraction. I was actually thinking the other day of a new idea for the GMR. I was thinking that they totally gut the building and employ the tech that Spiderman the ride uses for the great movie ride. Maybe ride through different movies in 3d. The building seems large enough. It doesn't have to be as intense or action filled as Spiderman, but it would be interesting. Of course the biggest downfall would be the drop in the range of demographic that could experience the ride. But it was just an wild idea, a wild one.

They recently did tweak the script, but not much, just adding some tidbits and a few lines. I like the GMR, one of MGM's best rides. I think they should try to update the movie film at the end of the ride with some of the current movies. Other than that, I wouldn't change much about the ride.

Not only do they need to get CMs that are excited about their jobs for these roles...but CMs that also have a modicum of acting ability. I've had some very energetic tour guides in the past who were intolerable because it was like watching a grade school production.

I agree 100% with Atta. One other thing I just discovered this year, if you go on the Great Movie Ride twice, you may not get taken over by a gangster at all on the second trip. Some of the ride vehicles stop in the cowboy room and a western bank robber takes over the ride. So they DO have at least two scripts.
Thats what I was thinking!!!!!! I thought maybe I was just imagining the other script.
