The COP won't be going. If it does, the current Walt Disney Company will be going against Walt's will. The COP was the only attraction Walt told his Imagineers to keep as long as his parks existed.
As for attendance, the COP only had, say, five or six people, in the morning hours..after 9/11. Of COURSE it would have little, it was in proportion to the parks!
Take a look at popkids FTP. There's a video in there from 9/9 with the theater PACKED.
So, why doesn't Disney just open it up for a week to try it, while they mark it on the map of WHAT IT IS (since the COP is very hidden!!) and it's *significance on Walt Disney World itself and 100 YOM*. Disney's put no effort in trying the COP on off seasons, or advertising this keystone to Disney itself. If they close the COP, this would be outright unjust and cruel.
Anyways, I don't think it will be open till Thanksgiving and then Christmas.
