I'm back after a too long hiatus so I'm sorry! But I'm very excited because my mom, my sister and I will be going to Disney in December to celebrate mom and sister graduating from their own things!

So, to get in the spirit, I watch disney videos on youtube (like you do). While browsing, I came across this channel (name currently escapes me, but Martin is part of the name) where it has countless tribute videos to show how certain rides of his choosing have started, were developed and changed over the years. So, if you're a history buff like me, especially a Disney one, I highly recommend this channel (you can find it in the link I'm placing in a bit).

So, to my other point. I come across the one for Splash Mountain and it's cool, yet strange to see that area in Frontierland w/ only trees where it would be in the future. He plays music from the ride and there's one song that comes up that I swear I've heard before, but it was not from the ride.

Can anyone tell me the name of the song and where I might have heard it? That would be greatly appreciated! I'll put the video in here. The song starts at 5:09.

It's called "That's What Uncle Remus Said". It's featured in the opening of Song of the South, and also in several places around property, including Splash Mountain's queue and gift shops. :)

ALL of Martins videos are fabulous. Lots of info and background that Disneyphiles love. I cant get enough.
I've never had the opportunity to visit DL to experience their version but it looks like the Orlando ride beats it.
