So exactly how much do YOU think Iger borrows since he is a multi-millionaire?

I think he's worth very close to what's been reported online. Dreamfinder has done an excellent job of tracking a few of his past transactions, but hand selecting a few stock sales and saying that because those total more than the reported net worth, his reported net worth is off is silly and naive.

But that doesn’t answer the question. Some are saying he’s a billionaire. You’re saying he’s worth $100 million. He can’t be borrowing hundreds of millions to offset hundreds of millions in assets to reach $100 million in net worth. So you still make no sense.

Sorry, all I'm doing is quoting what multiple sites have reported his net worth to be.

Those saying he's a billionare are wrong.

Not sure how that doesn't make sense?

A believe that they use a shared pool system for the tips collected at the register. That means a preset formula for all non-management employees based on hours worked. That can easily make their wages significantly better. Why do you think 2/3'rds returned to the job, even after Disney helped find them other jobs, not necessarily in tipped positions.

Edited to add - The EoS is non-union. So many of these EoS employees got Disney CM jobs, so a job with some nice perks, but also union dues. These CM's returned to a job with less wages and less perks, but nice shared tips.

And UNITE HERE claims their union members, the majority in tipped positions are not making a living wage, and want the citizens of Anaheim to give the $18 per hour, PLUS tips and perks.... something is very wrong with this equation.

I agree with you on this, I was just trying to poke fun at the current situation Disney's in.

The part about “assets vs liabilities” doesn’t make sense because that’s the argument between the big disparity between billions and millions.

Anyone claiming he's worth billions is foolish, I haven't seen any numbers given in this thread that even come close to approaching the billion dollar net worth estimate provided by Dreamfinder.

The number "billion" shouldn't even be a consideration when discussing Iger's net worth.

So yeah, if you're assuming that he has a billion dollars worth of assets, of course what I'm saying doesn't make sense.

If he doesn’t have a Billion in assets, it’s not because he borrowed a Billion.

MMMmmnnnnnn...Roast Beef!!!

I was there early this afternoon for my Thursday walk, and I actually tried that crepe truck nearby instead of Earl. The ham and cheese crepe was really good, and they sell Perrier in cans too. The entire lunch cost me about 10 bucks, high quality, served up by nice young college girls who actually smiled, made eye contact with me, and said "thank you sir!". Amazing to see that level of fast food service in the 21st century.

How about a small "All Disney" bookstore? I'd love to find old books on the parks!
I'd love to go in there and look around. But then I'd probably not the title of the books and then buy them online for cheaper. Bonus that I wouldn't have to carry it home with me.

Disney really should try to get Starbucks back in its old spot there. The area would feel more filled in with Starbucks back

A Disney bookstore can’t survive on its own in the age of Amazon. I suggest an add-on to a Starbucks store, a new book section or wall at World of Disney, or an attached book section at a Disney gift store at Disneyland Hotel.
