Not really a "million years" ago, but it did go down sometime in '98 as it was not really a popular attraction. I think Disney is looking to do something else to the former 20K Under The Leagues attraction.

It wasn't there when we went recently. I think Ariels Grotto was in it's place? Is that right? I'm confused about the post though. If they are saying it went down in 98 and you said you rode it in 93....that makes sense. You rode it before it went down. :veryconfu So what they are saying is true. Have I confused you all enough :p :hammer:

That makes sense now. I was thinking I had lost it (been a very long week).

When we rode it a long time ago, we had to stand in line for it for a long time, but because of being claustrophobic I never wanted to ride it again. Did they ever have air conditioning in those subs? When I went it was SO hot inside and with me feeling panicky it was making it worse.

Good question, I belive they had to of had some cooling with the ventilation, but whenever I was at WDW was in the fall or winter and it was always Cool or cold especially in 0ct 93 when it was in the 50s most of the week I was there. I never felt hot that I remember.

I'm going to thread drift here for a second, but I think it would be really neat if there was some way where they could have 20,000 leagues go through Living Seas. With real sea animals and fish. That may not be practical whatsoever, but it still seems as though that would have been interesting.
