This is a tiny boutique hotel with no outdoor amenities, though. Not saying something like this would never happen, just that this is a first for Disney.Star Wars hotel plot size fits in just fine.

An actual resort could fit there. Not saying it will. But a pathway removes any pressure to add a monorail station, which would likely be too much for the resort loop. This is a tiny boutique hotel with no outdoor amenities, though. I guess a tower... with little outdoor space for pools, etc.?An actual resort could fit there. Not saying it will. But a pathway removes any pressure to add a monorail station, which would likely be too much for the resort loop.
Oh, but the sightlines... will nobody think of the sightlines???I guess a tower... with little outdoor space for pools, etc.?
This could be the same principle as Star Wars hotel but a different theme. Compact size but immersive and expensive.Oh, but the sightlines... will nobody think of the sightlines???
Indiana Jones and the Backside of Water themed hotel/immersive experience, confirmed! This could be the same principle as Star Wars hotel but a different theme. Compact size but immersive and expensive.
Lol. Interesting to see what really happens though.Indiana Jones and the Backside of Water themed hotel/immersive experience, confirmed!
I recall rumors of a Mickey Mouse themed hotel that could potentially be something like a small boutique hotelThis could be the same principle as Star Wars hotel but a different theme. Compact size but immersive and expensive.
Didn't they already do that once. I think once is enough....They could also permanently dock the river boat and make it a restaurant

The problem with that area is the land itself. The plot adjacent to the GF might not have the same structural issues. There’s no reason to build in that little patch and deal with sight line issues when they have a huge hotel expansion area just to the west large enough for multiple hotels. They could then have watercraft transportation as well as connect walking paths to this path.
I don’t think there’s any issue with the land. It’s been listed as suitable for a very long time. Disney has used far less suitable areas to build on.The problem with that area is the land itself. The plot adjacent to the GF might not have the same structural issues.
Not odd at all. That crane IS the method to cross the canal. Think Tarzan. There you have it!It is a little odd to see equipment on site when then only just received this permit. I would assume this would need a South Florida Water Management District Permit which can take up to a couple months for approval, but they haven't applied for one yet.
What if they are going to build a restaurant there between MK and GF
Because you figured it out, here’s concept art:Or a new DVC tower
I would personally love to see DL build an Avengers Tower Hotel right behind Marvel Land as a backdropBecause you figured it out, here’s concept art:

Sight lines were taken into account. All you’ll see from the Jungle Cruise is Mickey. He’s always on-theme.
