Grand Floridian Courtyard Pool

I will be taking my family on their first trip to Disney World in April and will be staying at the Grand Floridian. When I booked our trip, I didn't realize that the Courtyard Pool would be closed for refurbishment early this year. Does anyone know if they have opened the pool yet?

If anyone is staying there over the next couple weeks, can you please post pictures of the progress on the pool? I am hoping that it will be open by April 23rd.

welcome aboard. We stayed there last month and there was a lot of work going on. I know there was a thread on here with updates for GF. The main pool area with the slide and the kids Alice in Wonderland themed splash area was a hit with our kids!!!

There are unconfirmed reports from another site that the courtyard pool is filled and they are currently working on landscaping. I have called the GF a couple of times and have been given the first week of April for the opening. Here is the link with more information and some really good courtyard pool construction photos.

So is the courtyard pool open yet? Will it be open by april 13th? It's toss up being poly standard view and going to grand floridian garden view. I don't want a view of a construction pit....

I have been told form calling the hotel that is scheduled to open the first week in April. I have been told this multiple times by different agents. But as seen before nothing is guaranteed.

Does anyone have any recent pictures of what the courtyard pool looks like today? We will be at the Grand Floridian on April 15th and are really looking forward to swimming. We will be so disappointed if it is not ready.

Ok forum members...there has to be someone out there who battled the crowds the week before Easter who can let us know hoe the Grand Floridian courtyard pool is looking. Pics would also be appreciated.

It has to be opening soon!!! I Cant wait!!! Taking a weekend trip in ether late June or mid August to see all the renovations. Just waiting until the discounts arrive!!!!!

I've heard the beach pool is now under renovation. We arrive June 8th and I'm so hoping this will be complete...any updates on this pool?
