While I agree with you the problem is that the pavilion has trouble handling the lines the ride gets now so if you retheme it to anything remotely interesting some serious capacity issues arise.
The logistics of fitting a long line in that building are tough. At the very least they would have to lose the two shops on the left hand side adjacent to the queue. What's more likely is that there would have to be some sort of outdoor access to that line on the left side of the building.

Coco would actually have some Mexican cultural significance....which Three Caballeros does not...
THe parking alley on the left side of the pavilion building appears to have a lot of space....Perhaps the attraction queue could begin outside the pyramid out there on one side or other of the existing show building ... for the bulk of the queue and then the last portion enter the main building.... I mean I am sure there are reasons why this could not work, but if they wanted to make it work, they could....and it would be a great addition to the park...that still needs more attractions.....

If you went to La Cava when they were experimenting running thier line through that space it wouldn't be pretty. You'd cut off San Angel and its bathrooms to the right as well as the back of house food preparation area that serves 4 locations.

That's why it got the fairly lazy Three Caballeros overlay in the first place. Not sure why you think a slightly more thoughtful Coco overlay would be especially worse from the perspective of preserving the integrity of original EPCOT.
Might as well start painting everything Neon…to keep the attention of those with 10 year old mental capacity…
As the demographics have been shifting AWAY from families with children…

Excellent leadership

A new cartoon overlay is not “more true” to the original spirit of Epcot…

Was that your genius point?
You were the one complaining that someone suggested replacing one cartoon overlay with, uh, another cartoon overlay (which is actually slightly more fitting) and then accused them of not having the attention span for classic EPCOT when that ship had already sailed for this particular attraction ages ago. I realize the original post was simply a vehicle for your daily airing of Bob-related grievances, but if anyone didn't really have much of a point here, it was you. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t know, I like Coco, but I’d only choose to replace The Three Caballeros if it were treated as authentically as Tiana, especially in its music. It’s just that I feel the movie makes Día de Muertos too homogeneous. I only defend The Three Caballeros because of the "Fiesta Colonial" scene, which I feel is more dignified than Coco in terms of Epcot’s values.

Plus, there's the crossover issue of the line and the ride exit. Because of the path of the ride, a left side exit that would provide space for a ramp for one to go over or under the other unobtrusively or simply avoid each other, completely isn't possible.

The original design was just not done with the intention of this being an e-ticket attraction space and unlike FEA, with it's forever corridor for exit, it would take a lot more to get that done, here.

Again, it's possible but I don't think they want to spend the money on it.

Personally, if they were going to add Coco to Epcot and drop that kind of money, I'd rather see them raise the meet-and-greet nextdoor for the characters from the imaginary land that they wasted a country expansion pad on and do a new build intended to accommodate that volume. They could still snake the entrance queue from the main indoor part of that pavilion if that area could handle that level of foot traffic and I think the entrance would fit in theme nicely with the town he's supposed to be from.

I actually wish we had more attractions like 3 cabs. Universally accessible, no lines, easy to enjoy. All Disney seems to build are massive E-tickets (except maybe Navi River) and I think they really could enhance all the parks by adding some small stuff.

Disney is no longer capable of building (or more importantly budgeting) such rides...and they don't sell LL.
