After a month and a half I finally found a great price and times for our trip to WDW the week after Easter. For the longest time the best deal we could find was one way down and back, and that averaged out to about 300.00 plus, so two days ago in the morning I decided to go to travelocity and check them out, ( hadn't been there in awhile ), they came up with 232.20 roung trip out of Newark NJ each. Jumped on that one real fast. Anybody going down then? Really would like to meet up with you while we are there. We're going again!!!:sohappy: By the way is EE officially opened then?

I won't be there when you are, but I had to say that I got our tickets from Travelocity in Sept. for travel this month and mine were only 148.00 per ticket. I was so excited. Have fun on your trip!

The entire reason we're taking our next trip is because of the DING softwarre I downloaded from Southwest. We got one way tickets or $31 pp. I couldn't pass up a plane ticket for the same price as a tank full of gas! They have great deals like that all the time. I don't fly any other airline.

But congrats on getting something set in stone! No matter what you pay, you still end up at the same destination.

We just booked our trip for Apr. Living 5 minutes from the Cincinnati airport, we can't even fly out of their most of the time. Delta operates 90% of the flights from there so there is really no competition, so the prices are always ridiculous. If we want decent fairs we have to drive to Louisville (1.5 hrs) for Southwest or Dayton (1 hrs). We are ending up going out of Dayton on Airtran, but the tix were still $360 each RT.

Now I feel kinda bad, like I was bosting. Sorry, I hope we get to meet someone from here while we're at WDW, it's always nice to have a sort of meet, like the one we had in NJ. By the way, we're flying on airtran as well.

We got our tickets for our trip at the end of this month in early August before Katrina hit. They were $180pp. Now their around $350 to 400. I usually wait until October to get them for our Feb-Mar trips. I'm so glad I didn't wait this year.

Hey, Hey my fellow New Jerseyeans(I think that's how it's spelled) I'll be down April 25 to May 2. I am flying out of Philly, South West, and my tickets were $140 round trip. Not too bad, have a great trip, maybe I'll see you, have fun

CONGRATS TO YOU!!!

We are in NJ & going to WDW in April also (4 of us). I have checked EVERY TRAVEL SITE (Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Hotwire, ETC.) since the day that I booked our trip (Oct. 05) and I CANNOT find anything (NON-STOP, flying & my ears don't get along!) under $480/ea (and believe me, the hours I would have to fly for that price, are crazy!). We have basically given up on the idea (my daughters weren't that interested in flying, to begin with), and unless some GREAT SALE arises, we've decided to DRIVE down! I just did the drive last September (to Sarasota, FL) & it wasn't that bad. The unfortunate part, is having to pull my daughter's out of school for 2 extra days.

HAVE A SAFE TRIP!

Last July the prices for air out of the NYC area were crazy, so I started looking at the prices out of Philly airport and found a great price on the outbound on US Air and the return on Southwest. Granted it was 1.5 hour drive for me, but considering air was $400 for not so desireable flight times, I thought it worth it for the $220 I saved.

It took me forever to find decent airfare this year. Last year was easy, we found round trip on airtran for just less than $500 total for the three of us! This year, we still got a great deal, but not as good as last year. This year we paid $187/person/roundtrip from hartford, ct on delta.

i can't wait!

Hey Craig and Lisa!!

I know what you mean about getting decent air.

I found some for $138 RT out of newark for my trip in march and because I didn't grab it right away it went up to $158 in 2 weeks. My husband decided to join us after I booked the air for myself and my daughters (whom you met) and within 3 days it jumped up to $238 RT.

Have a great time!

Ee

Lisa,
Yes, EE will be open then. It is now most days. We were there for four days last week and it was open all but one of the days. I asked though and it will be "officially" open by the end of March. Have fun!:animwink: :animwink: :animwink:

I will be traveling 4/5-4/9 which is in the Spring break timeframe here in the Chicago area. Booked my airfare in January, 2 one ways. Out, $86.50 on Southwest and back $189.50 on United. Sure I'll be flying from/back to 2 different airports (Midway/O'Hare) but it was much better than paying 323.00 + RT on any other airline. Plus this way I can fly back with my brother, even in the next seat, since I'm meeting him there at a conference he's attending.
