Got a pin code for free dining in January!!

I received an email from Disney Destinations today offering free dining from Jan. 3- March 5, 2014 or up to 35% off resorts for certain nights from Jan-Sept 2014. This saves us about $800 from what I could figure out the math of the Stay, Play and Dine offer!

I used to get them, but once we started buying AP's or going several times a year, I haven't gotten another one. Probably coincidence, but they really have no reason to send us a pin when they know we'll be coming anyway.

I booked my trip for the last week of January including room, tix, and dining for 30% off the whole lot a few months back on an email pin. I don't know what the better deal is. I actually did not want the DDP. You think I could call them and have it removed?

Run the numbers, if you would make out better without the dining plan then remove it.

Same. So I am living vicariously through my friends who don't have APs - texting them all "DID YOU GET A PIN CODE?!?"

Strange, I wonder what the logic behind this could be? We were considering getting annual passes this trip and taking a weekend trip down in May but maybe we should re-think that... we are saving a lot this trip and don't want to take a chance of losing that for next January.
