Goofy's Candy Company update

Just a quick note about Goofy's Candy Company at Marketplace. It has reopened officially and is serving all sorts of goodies.

Walking into the place one's nostrils are attacked by an almost sickly sweet smell.

The cool thing: the new Goofy's Freezes (vague memory of the name - sorry) which are like Slurpee's, Icee's, you pick the name of your favorite ice-drink thingy - but I digress: They come in several flavors including cola, cherry, berry, banana, all with cute matching Disney names. Then there are the cups! You get to choose the "base," the color of your actual cup, and then the "top." The tops and bases come in different Disney character types, so you can have stitch feet with mickey ears for example - or you can of course match them up. There are 6 styles of each and 6 different flavors - I could be mis-remembering, but there's certainly more than 1

Though I did like the Disney at Home store, I like Slurpees a lot more. And with collectable disney parts. Doesn't get much better than that.

Can't wait to see it in real life.

The other "goofys" loation (connected to Earl of Sammich) has reverted to a Disney Pantry and carries most of the Disney at Home stuff now.

Yea, the Goofy's Candy Co. store is awesome. They really turned that store around, and there are lots of little details to search for.

Oreo Cookie Crumbs, Mini White Chocolate Chips, Sprinkles, Chopped Peanuts, Chopped Walnuts, Chopped Pecans, Mini M&Ms, Crushed Butterfingers Milk Chocolate Drizzle, or White Chocolate Drizzle

Goofy's Candy Company is located where Disney At Home used to be.
Mickey's Pantry (selling kitchen stuff) is located where Goofy's Candy Company used to be.
All other Disney At Home merchandise now located in World of Disney located where it always was.

Does anyone know if they are carrying the Mickey Icon soaps? I went to go buy those in February and I was so disappointed that the Home Store wasn't there any more!

Sounds like it will be a good money making shop for Disney. Kids will go in there and want whatever they can get their hands on (great idea).

Yes I have had the slurpees at MGM, not that great, I am sure these are better. I couldn't tell if that had a Donald cup, they better! The is one big step in the Create Your Own Magic push from Disney.

Yea, the Goofy's Candy Co. store is awesome. They really turned that store around, and there are lots of little details to search for.

After you walk in, and walk straight ( i believe its right where they have fudge and what not) there is a sign... somthing about Goofys rules of the candy shop. It starts out with somthing about "1. Guests are always right!" and then there are a number of rules set forth by Goofy. Towards the end of the list, Goofy, along with his brilliant Disney employer, tries to tell the people working at his candy shop that he wants their aprons to always be clean. One of the 'little details' to look for on this sign is where Disney actually spelt the word "apron" wrong. Can you believe that the would actually spell it wrong, and leave te sign up... Spelt "Apon" ... perhaps its a way of keeping costs down, leave out letters here and there... Wlt Disny Wrld?
