Goofyfan, that was a GREAT update! :animwink:

Thanks so much for taking pictures of The Land for us, I'm actually starting to worry about what my favorite pavillion's exterior will look like once the rehab is done. . . :(

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I wish I could have gotten more pictures from around the world, but unfortunately I was short on time. Once I saw the construction equipment at the Land I couldn't let a good opportunity pass me by.

Thanks for the update. When I saw the pics of the Land....I had a tear in my eye. I honestly hope they know what they are doing!!! First the balloons and now this! What's next - living with the land the 2 minute boat ride? And speaking with living with the land, am I the only one who finds it ironic that we have to distroy the Land (in more ways than one) to re-hab it?

We can only hope LWTL is not seriously effected, however in regards to the destruction outside, I think its just to widen the path for the increased traffic that will be heading in and out of the pavilion when Soarin' opens.

Good grief, we have enough Stitch! He's not even as popular as Disney advertises! The ride is a disaster--who wants to be reminded of it every time he boards the monorail?

I like Stitch, but I think they are going a little too far with the advertising, they didn't even promote some of their better rides as much as they are this one. In all fairness to Disney though, many people still haven't seen SGE yet, so they are just trying to make people more excited to see the thing. There also aren't too many people who go as much as we do, so they probobly don't notice it enough to care.

Great update. It's so sad to see the Land like that.

Maybe change will be for the better. From the looks of it so far, the balloons will live on. And from the photos all they seem to be doing is widening the path and moving some trees, nothin major that will 'destroy' The Land.

I hope that those photos are telling the truth! I sure would hate for the Land to get all messed up and stuff! :)
