Goodbye Future World Kidcot

I have a 3 year old and he spent some time at the Land Kidcot station. Why? Because we were doing the kid swap for Soarin'. Fortunately on our next trip, he'll be tall enough to ride Soarin', but how about all those other toddlers who can't ride?

Not that the KidCot station filled all the time, but it help fill some of the time required of a kid swap.

Pretty much leaves riding up and down the escalators the whole time.

I really won't miss the Kidcots in FW, but the kids really enjoy the ones in world showcase. Mine ask alot of questions to the 'country' cast memebers, especially about their native lands. The cast members also, most times, write the name of the kids in their native language, which is pretty cool.

My kids this last trip, did not only the Kidcots (only the WS ones), but also the Kim Possible missions, which are actually pretty cool. Fun for the whole family.

as a perm now i used to love it on my icp when peeps would ask me to write my name in english and parents would stand and wait.

the look i got when they discovered my name is the same and then being told no! your language hilarious!

I am wholly against marketing things specifically at one age group over another. Epcot is a place for the whole family to have fun and learn together. Kids aren't doing either by playing with crayons all day.

So, kids don't have fun drawing and coloring??? And they aren't learning to use their imagination?? Hmm, yea, sounds very Anti-Disney, cause, ya know, Walt and the Imagineers didn't and don't color, draw, or use imagination :dazzle:.
